Injured Centerville Worker Receives Help from ALIFT

Assisting Loggers Immediately Fund Trust (ALIFT) of Tunkhannock, PA has provided $2,500 in financial assistance to a local logging contractor. Scott Hutchinson of Centerville was seriously injured while working on his job site recently. He was airlifted to Erie UMPC where he was treated for over two weeks. He is now home recovering but will be out of work indefinitely.

ALIFT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group that provides financial assistance to logging accident victims and their families in Pennsylvania and the southern tier of New York. It was started ten years ago by Jim Soltis, the president of the organization.
