Bears Fall to Tigers in Four Set Thriller

The Lady Bears Volleyball team was back in the Bears Den on Thursday night taking on the Fairview Tigers in another region game. In what would be a hotly contested match throughout, the Lady Bears would win the first set over the Tigers 28-26. The next two sets would continue to go back-and-forth as the Tigers would take set two 25-23, and then the third set 25-19. The Lady Bears would enter the fourth set in a must win to force a final fifth set, the Bears would fall behind 16-10 but would come back to even the score at 23, the Tigers however would score the final two points to take the fourth set 25-23, defeating the Bears in four sets 3-1. The Lady Bears fall to 6-2 (0-2) on the season and will be back in action Tuesday night when they travel to Girard.
