Pennsylvania State Police at Lawrence Park report a deadly traffic accident in North East Township Sunday. The two vehicle crash took place at the intersection of East Lake and Gay Roads. According to the report an SUV driven by Joanne Deck, 75, of Webster, NY, pulled out into the intersection and was struck by an oncoming RAM pickup. A passenger in the SUV, Arlene Semesky, 79, also from Webster, NY, was fatally injured. The driver was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment of serious injuries. Two children in the SUV and the driver of the pickup were also taken to the hospital for examinations.
