Picking the game back up in the fourth quarter, the Tigers would start the final quarter on a 5-0 run with a running clock before Freshman Ellie Hunter made the Bears first basket, the Tigers would outscore the Bears in the fourth 10-3 as the Bears fell to the Tigers 54-17 falling to 4-4 (1-0) on the season. The Lady Bears will be back in action next Thursday January 5th as they travel to Maplewood High School to take on the Maplewood Tigers in a region game. “Another tough loss tonight. Fairview is a very solid and disciplined team. We were careless with the ball and didn’t value our possessions.” Coach Matt Moon said in a statement after the game. “The weekend off to rest will be good for us after two tough games back-to-back and we get into our region schedule next week. We’ll get better and prepare to compete at Maplewood Thursday. Time to bounce back and learn from our mistakes.”
