Corry State Police report a John Deere 9770 STS combine was traveling on Kimball Hill Rd. just north of Rt. 97 in Union City Friday when it struck an overhead wire breaking the unit’s windshield. The wire was attached a utility pole which was broken in the mishap. The operator of the combine was not injured. Police were assisted by Union City Fire Department.
