Union City Borough reports that Friday was the first day of garbage pickup by Tri-County Industries.  They are aware there were some areas that were missed, and they will take care of those areas.  Residents can leave the missed trash at the curb.  If you were missed, you can contact Tri County at 724-748-4705.  They are only collecting 96 gallons of garbage per week.
Tri-County stated the bills and other information should be sent out this week.
