Schools in Corry and in Crawford and Warren counties will be providing students with fresh fruit and vegetable snacks. Governor Tom Wolf announced area schools are among 266 elementary schools in the state that will share $7 million in grant funding. The Union City, Wattsburg and Ft. Leboeuf districts are not on the list of grant recipients. Corry’s grant is $60,480; Crawford Central will receive $91,000; and Warren County gets $86,170. The funding was awarded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.
