The Wall of Achievement was established to honor the accomplishments of Union City’s students, athletes, coaches, teachers, administrators, business patrons, and community members. Three categories of recognition have been created to celebrate the diverse achievements of those who have made a lasting impact.

The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, July 27, 2026. The selection committee is expected to meet during the first week of August to choose this year’s inductees.

The 2026 Wall of Achievement Induction Ceremony will take place during the Union City High School Homecoming football game on Friday, September 18, 2026. New inductees will be recognized during halftime, where a biographical sketch will be read and each honoree will receive a commemorative plaque. Their names will also be permanently displayed on the Wall of Achievement plaque in the high school lobby. Prior to the game, a public reception will be held, giving family, friends, and community members an opportunity to congratulate the new inductees.

Individuals interested in nominating someone for the Wall of Achievement may request a nomination form by emailing committee member Sherri Margie at margiegirl2955@gmail.com. Completed nomination forms may be returned to the Union City High School Office or submitted by email to the same address before the July 27 deadline.

The Wall of Achievement Committee encourages the community to help recognize those whose dedication, leadership, and accomplishments have helped shape Union City and serve as an inspiration for future generations.
