Union City Borough reports that Raccoon Refuse has gone out of business. The borough is searching for a new firm on an emergency basis and will seek bids later. In the meantime Union City is asking citizens not to put trash and garbage at the curb. Other communities in Erie and Crawford Counties are also impacted by the shutdown.
