CRAWFORD COUNTY — Pennsylvania State Police in Corry investigated two crashes in Crawford County during October, including one involving a driver charged with driving under the influence.

The first crash occurred October 17 at approximately 11:02 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway 27 and Enterprise Road in Oil Creek Township.

According to state police, a 2011 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Megan I. Hawkins, 22, of Pleasantville, was stopped at the stop sign on Enterprise Road before attempting to turn left onto Route 27. The vehicle pulled into the path of a westbound 2025 Ford Bronco driven by Darlene M. Kronauer, 58, of Chardon, Ohio.

The Pacifica struck the left side of the Bronco, causing the Bronco to spin out of control and cross the roadway before striking a guardrail. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
