CORRY — PennDOT will begin around-the-clock construction on Route 77 and Church Street in Corry on Monday, October 19, weather permitting.

Crews will pave during the day and perform demolition and reconstruction work overnight. The 24-hour operations are expected to continue through Wednesday, October 21. Work on Thursday and Friday, October 22 and 23, is expected to take place during daylight hours only.

During the week of October 26, paving will be completed on Route 77 between Mead Avenue and Church Street. That section will then reopen, and work will shift to the section between First and Third streets.

The work is part of a $9.8 million, multi-year resurfacing project covering more than five miles of roadway in Corry, including Route 77, West Washington Street and South Center Street.
