CORRY — A Brookville man was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Corry earlier this month.
According to a Corry Police Department news release, officers conducted a traffic stop around 6:35 p.m. Sept. 11 near West Washington and North First Avenue for a vehicle displaying a dead registration plate.
Police identified the driver as 41-year-old Eric Kraus of Brookville. Kraus was found to be operating the vehicle with a DUI-suspended license and no registration or insurance. Police also determined he had an active warrant for his arrest.
Kraus was taken into custody and later transported to the Erie County Prison. Police said he was being held there pending transportation back to Clarion County and Jefferson County to answer the outstanding warrants.
