WATTSBURG — The Erie County Fair returns to the Wattsburg Fairgrounds Sunday, August 30, for a week of livestock and agricultural events, live music, rides, midway attractions and grandstand entertainment.
The fair continues through Saturday, September 5, with gates opening at noon Sunday and at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The final Saturday begins at 9 a.m.
Weekend opening
Sunday’s opening day includes an open gaming horse show, harness racing at 1 p.m., rides beginning at 1 p.m., and Acoustic Steel performing from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the Northwest Bank Stage.
Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show will have performances at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., followed by goat yoga at 5 p.m. and the Fair Parade at 5 p.m. A Vesper Service is scheduled for 6 p.m., with Cow Pie Bingo at 7 p.m.
Saturday’s closing day features a full schedule of activities, including horse shows, the Youth Livestock Auction, children’s pedal pull, the Vegetable Derby, Farm Stock Tractor Pull, Mini Rods and fireworks at 10 p.m.
Live entertainment
The fair’s entertainment lineup includes a variety of local and regional performers throughout the week.
Performers scheduled for the Northwest Bank Stage include:
- Acoustic Steel — Sunday and Saturday
- Polka Relations — Monday
- Cool Change Band — Tuesday
- Taylor Remaid — Wednesday
- Knuckle Down — Thursday
- Dan Douglas Band — Friday
- Ryah & Markus Acoustics — Saturday
- Keystone Jake & Rick Acoustics — Saturday
Other performers appearing throughout the fair include Tyler McClain, Mark Morris, Me & The Boy, Jesse James Weston, Jesse Tomczak and Chris Matthews.
Electrifying Magic is also scheduled for multiple performances Monday through Saturday, while Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show will appear several times throughout the week.
Grandstand and agricultural events
The grandstand schedule includes an antique tractor pull Monday, a garden tractor pull Tuesday, a draft horse pull Wednesday, the Buckeye Rodeo Thursday, a truck pull Friday and Farm Stock Tractor Pull and Mini Rods on Saturday.
The fair’s agricultural programming includes dairy, beef, sheep, goat, poultry, rabbit and hog shows, along with 4-H activities and the Youth Livestock Auction.
Midway and other attractions
Rides will open at 1 p.m. Sunday and at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturday, rides will operate from noon to 5 p.m. and again from 6 to 10 p.m.
Jumpin’ Jungle Miniature Golf will be available throughout the week, and additional attractions include Bwana Jim’s wildlife shows, Electrifying Magic, goat yoga, Cow Pie Bingo, the Fair Parade, Vegetable Derby and children’s pedal pull.
Erie County Fair Queen
Corry’s Erica Fisher was crowned the 2026 Erie County Fair Queen during the pageant held August 16. Fisher will serve as the fair’s queen during this year’s event.
Senior Citizen Day
Monday, August 31, is Senior Citizen Day. Admission is free for those age 65 and older, and a Senior King and Queen will be crowned at 6 p.m. at the North Stage.
Admission
Daily general admission is $12 and includes parking, rides and midway entertainment. Children age 5 and under are admitted free. Active-duty military, reservists, veterans and retirees also receive free gate admission with military identification.
Senior admission is $5, except Monday, when seniors receive free gate admission.
A $20 weekly pass was available through August 29 and covers daily gate admission, but does not include rides or the Thursday, Friday and Saturday night grandstand events.
Grandstand admission is separate for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday night events.
