The City of Corry Police Department has charged a man following a reported retail theft investigation at a business on East Columbus Avenue. According to a police news release, officers responded April 28, 2026, to the Walmart in the 900 block of East Columbus Avenue for a report of a retail theft.
Police said the investigation determined that Robert Hudson, 42, allegedly failed to scan five items while using a self-checkout register. Hudson is scheduled to answer to the charge at a future hearing before Magisterial District Judge Buell.
Defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
