Man Taken Into Custody on Active Warrant Following State Police Arrest

The City of Corry Police Department reports that a man was taken into custody on an active warrant following an arrest by Pennsylvania State Police.

According to a news release, Pennsylvania State Police initially arrested Jay Gibbons, 55, for public drunkenness. During that incident, troopers discovered Gibbons had an active warrant through the City of Corry Police Department.

Gibbons was transferred into custody of Corry City Police following the arrest and was later arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Buell.
