The Erie Otters saw their homestand continue Saturday night with a 6–1 loss to the London Knights in a Midwest Division matchup at the EIA.
London opened the scoring on a first-period power-play goal before Erie answered with a power-play tally from Michael Dec to tie the game 1–1 after one. The Knights pulled ahead in the second period with two goals, taking a 3–1 lead into the final frame.
London added three more goals in the third period, including a hat trick from Jesse Nurmi, to pull away for the win. The Knights outshot the Otters 38–32 in the game.
Erie wraps up its homestand Thursday morning with the annual School Day Game against the Guelph Storm.
