Union City Police have filed multiple charges against a Warren woman following a September traffic stop that led to the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
According to police, the incident occurred on September 18, when officers made contact with 30-year-old Jamie Lynn Lee, of Warren, during a stop on South Street. Due to circumstances at the scene, officers requested assistance from a Wesleyville Police Department K-9 unit.
The K-9 alerted to Lee’s vehicle, prompting officers to impound it and seek a search warrant. After the warrant was granted, investigators reported finding methamphetamines, glass smoking pipes, and other drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Numerous traffic violations were also cited as part of the case.
Charges have been filed, and Lee will face a hearing at a later date.
