The Corry City Police Department’s K9 unit assisted in a major multi-jurisdictional narcotics investigation on Tuesday, November 4, resulting in several arrests and the seizure of roughly 7.5 pounds of methamphetamine.

According to a notice from the department, the operation was led by the Pennsylvania State Police and included support from the Corry City Police K9 Unit, Meadville Police K9 Unit, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Narcotics Unit.

The coordinated investigation targeted a regional drug-trafficking organization operating in northwest Pennsylvania.

Corry Police said they are proud to have contributed to the effort, noting that collaborative operations like this help keep dangerous narcotics out of local communities and strengthen public safety across the region.
