According to a post shared on social media, Avery passed away peacefully on Tuesday, surrounded by love. For more than five years, she bravely battled Ewing Sarcoma, a rare cancer, all while dedicating herself to helping animals and families through her nonprofit organization.

Avery became a beloved figure in Corry and beyond — known for her kindness, bright spirit, and determination to make sure “no pet goes hungry.”

Her family says they will continue her mission through Avery’s Pawsitive Change.

Avery’s final message to the community was simple: “Tell everyone I love them. I have no regrets.”
