A Saegertown man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on State Highway 198 in Hayfield Township, Crawford County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville, 59-year-old David Scott Miller was traveling eastbound when his three-wheeled motorcycle left the roadway near the 17200 block of Route 198. The vehicle went into a ditch, overturned, and came to rest in a nearby field.
Investigators believe the crash occurred several hours before it was discovered. The vehicle was cool to the touch and showed signs of overnight condensation. Miller died at the scene. No one witnessed the crash.
The cause remains under investigation.
