Corry’s Kael Albers took 7th place at the PIAA state wrestling tournament in Hershey over the weekend. Albers got the win over Southern Columbia’s Jude Bremigan in double overtime at 215 pounds on Saturday.
Mason Savitz was 2-2 and Will Allen went 0-2 in the tournament at 172 and 139 pounds respectively.
For Union City, Van Ward was 2-2 at 107 pounds.
Ft. Leboeuf’s John Duran went 1-2 at 285 pounds.
For the ladies, Corry’s Finley Fourspring started out 2-1 but forfeited her final two matches. Teammate Koda Kuzma finished 1-2 in the 136 pound weight class.
Fort Leboeuf’s Ella McGuire went 0-2 at 118 pounds.
