The trial of a Corry man charged with the murder of a pregnant Amish woman will not happen next week. Crawford County Judge Francis Schultz granted a defense request to reschedule the start of the trial for Shawn Cranston to June 9th, according to a Go Erie report.
The defense requested the delay for time to review new evidence. Cranston allegedly killed 23 year-old Rebekah Byler at her Sparta Township residence February 26, 2024.
