Nicholas J. Oneal, 36, was charged on November 7 with several felonies, including making, delivering, or possessing drugs with the intent to sell, according to a Times Observer report. He also faces a felony charge for using a communication device for illegal activities, along with four misdemeanors for trying to possess controlled substances without proper registration. Additionally, he was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, not having a valid vehicle inspection, and using the wrong type of license. His bail is set at $35,000, and he is currently in Warren County Prison.

According to court documents, an undercover police officer began chatting with Oneal on Facebook Messenger starting in October and continuing into November. They discussed plans for Oneal to bring drugs, including methamphetamine, MDMA, and marijuana, to use together at a specific location.

On November 7, Oneal told the undercover officer he was heading to the agreed-upon spot and asked if the officer still wanted to meet and receive the drugs. He mentioned he would ride his motorcycle to the hotel.

The officer spotted Oneal’s motorcycle around 10:45 p.m. on November 7, followed him to the hotel, and confirmed his identity through a license check. He was arrested near his motorcycle. During the arrest, the police found about 6.43 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and two MDMA pills on him, along with a glass pipe and two syringes.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for today in front of Judge Bauer.
