The Lady Bears Softball team was back on the field on Thursday afternoon as they played host to the Northwestern Wildcats in another region game.
It was all Northwestern in this one, as Lady Wildcats’ pitcher Zoey Johnson would dominate in the circle in a complete game shutout, pitching all five innings, surrendering three hits, along with four strikeouts and one walk in the Wildcats 13-0 win over the Lady Bears in five innings. The Lady Bears fall to 4-3 (4-2) on the season, while the Wildcats improve to 3-3 (3-1).
The Lady Bears will be back in action on Friday afternoon as they travel to Harborcreek to take on the Huskies in another region game.
