Davis Court Hearing Monday; Union City Event To Go On

According to Erie County court records a temporary PFA against County Executive Brenton Davis was obtained Thursday by a woman said to be an ex-girlfriend of Davis. The plaintiff alleges Davis assaulted her earlier this month when she attempted to return a firearm belonging to Davis. According to Davis’ version of events the woman arrived at his residence on Easter Sunday and forced her way through the door with the rifle, after which Davis disarmed her. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Monday morning at the Erie County Courthouse. Erie County Information Officer Christopher Carroll told UCToday.org late Friday that Monday’s court activity should not affect the Erie County Agricultural Community Tour on Monday at 6PM at Union City High School Auditorium. The speakers will be Davis and Tom McClure from the conservation district. More information on that event: Davis to Address Farmers in Union City April 24
