The Union City Lady Bears were back on the softball diamond on Monday taking on the Seneca Bobcats. The Bobcats gave the Bears all they could handle, keeping the game close through the first five innings, the Lady Bears would break it open in the sixth, as their bats would come alive, as they would score four runs, off five hits and a couple errors from the Bobcats, going on to defeat Seneca 8-2, improving to 3-0 (1-0) on the season. The Lady Bears will be back on the diamond on Tuesday taking on Harborcreek in another region game.
