The Winter Sports season will get underway this weekend as the Union City Bears Boys and Girls Basketball teams will tip off their season in tip-off tournaments. The Girls will travel to Meadville High School for the Meadville tip-off tournament and the Boys for the second straight year will host their own tournament – the UC tip-off tournament at the Union City High School which will be broadcasted by McCray and Son Broadcasting. The tournaments will take place Friday, December 2 and continue Saturday, December 3.

Friday December 2:

Game one: 6 PM Commodore Perry vs Erie First Christian 

Game two: 7:30 PM Iroquois vs Union City 

Saturday December 3:

Game three: 6 PM loser of game one vs loser of game two

Championship game: 7:30 PM winner of game one vs winner of game two
