Trash, trees and a dog were among the issues that came up at a Corry City Council Planning Meeting Thursday afternoon. Big trash containers versus small ones were discussed. There is essentially one size now as the city did not opt to spend extra money to accommodate all customers. The new containers are being distributed this month.
Some new trees will also be planted soon on Main Street. There was concern that the new trees could damage sidewalks in the future.
The Police Department is also proposing a plan to acquire a K-9 Officer to sniff out drugs.
More information on the planning session is available on the city website, www.corrypa.gov.
