Union City Police Department has hired a new officer. Zachery Shelly joins the department this week following the recent resignation of Patrolman Jacob Kondrlik who now works for the Corry police department. Shelly has experience working with the Kane and Johnsonburg Police Departments according to a post on the UCPD Facebook page.
