The Union City Bears softball team traveled to Northwestern to take on the Wildcats on Wednesday afternoon, in another region game. It was a back-and-forth game for the first few innings, as the two teams would trade the lead, the Wildcats would take the lead in the fourth however, and never look back, as they would go on to defeat the Bears 7-4, handing the Lady Bears their fifth straight loss, as they fall to 7-9 (5-8) on the season. The Lady Bears will travel to Mercyhurst Prep on Thursday afternoon, taking on the Lakers in a doubleheader.
