The Union City Lady Bears softball team was back on the field Thursday afternoon taking on the Seneca Bobcats in another region game. The Bobcats were dominant early, taking a 3-0 lead in the fifth inning, the Lady Bears would come back however, tying the game up in the seventh to force extra innings. Alyssa Tingley would drive in the winning run in the top of the ninth, as the Lady Bears would hold on to defeat the Bobcats 4-3 in nine innings, as the Lady Bears improve to 6-4 (4-3) on the season. The Lady Bears will be back in action Friday afternoon, taking on Northwestern.
