Bears Shock Devils in Close Game

The Union City Bears baseball team took the field in Cambridge Springs on Thursday afternoon hoping to get back in the win column against the rival Blue Devils. The Bears would strike early, scoring two runs in the top of the first, as Daithin Kent would drive in two runs. The Devils would put a run on the board in the fifth, as Gunnar Gage would drive in the Devils only run in the contest, as the Bears took down the rival Blue Devils 2-1, as the Bears improve to 4-7 (3-7) on the season. The Bears will be back home Friday afternoon, taking on Northwestern.
