The Union City Bears baseball team took the field on Wednesday afternoon taking on the Saegertown Panthers in a region game. The Panthers would strike early, scoring eight runs in the first inning, the Bears would play better the rest of the game however, outscoring the Panthers 4-1, but would ultimately fall short losing 9-4, falling to 3-7 (2-7) on the season. The Bears will be back on the field Thursday afternoon, as they take on the rival Cambridge Springs Blue Devils.
