Bears Fall in Tight Game to Orioles

Written By Cody Rose

The Union City Bears baseball team was back on their home field on Thursday afternoon, taking on the Rocky Grove Orioles, hoping to win their third straight game. Lucas Doutt, Trevin Capela and Aidan Shuman would each drive in runs for the Bears, in what would be a close game throughout, but the Bears would come up just short, falling to the Orioles 5-4, as they fall to 3-5 (2-5) on the season. The Bears will look to regroup and get a win Friday afternoon when they travel to Maplewood to take on the Tigers.
