The Union City Lady Bears softball team was back on the field on Thursday afternoon, taking on the Fairview Tigers in a region game. Sofia Ortiz would lead the way for the Tigers, going 3 for 4, scoring two runs, and three runs batted in, as the Tigers would shock the Bears, winning 18-8 in five innings. Cathryn Reynolds would lead the way for the Bears, going 2 for 4, scoring two runs and an RBI. With the loss, the Lady Bears fall to 4-3 (2-3) on the season. The Bears will look to get back in the win column Friday afternoon at Cathedral Prep.
