A Project to Preserve the Route 408 Bridge in Hydetown Borough in Crawford County will begin next week. Workers will rehabilitate the 93-year-old bridge that carries Route 408 over Oil Creek.  The bridge is located between Patterson Road and Main Street. The project will require a 13.4-mile detour, which will be posted using Routes 8, 27, and 428. The new bridge is expected to be opened by October 2, 2023. The cost is $1,978,150 and will be paid entirely with state funds.
