The Union City Bears Baseball team was back in action on Tuesday afternoon taking on the Saegertown Panthers in their first region game of the season. Senior Bryce Drayer led the team with two hits, adding an RBI, allowing Daithin Kent to score the Bears only run of the game, that’s all the Bears would score however as they would go on to lose the game to the Panthers 11-1 falling to 1-1 (0-1) on the season. The Bears will look to rebound in their next game at Cambridge Springs on Wednesday.
