Corry Police Make a Pair of Weekend Arrests

A 34 year-old Corry man, Jamal Jordan, is facing multiple charges. Jordan allegedly assaulted a woman Saturday at a North Center Street location. He was arrested, appeared before District Judge Ferrick and taken to the Erie County Jail. The charges include assault, harassment and public intoxication.

Corry Police were also sent to an address on West Smith Street Saturday for a trespass and disturbance complaint. 58 year-old Luciano Varasso was taken into custody and police determined there was an active warrant for Varasso in Crawford County. The Crawford County Sheriff was notified. Varasso was taken to the Crawford County Jail. He will face additional charges for the incident in Corry at a later date.
