During Tuesday’s meeting Union City Borough Council Member Robert Fitch announced he is resigning from the board effective March 14 because he will be relocating outside the borough limits.
“I am thankful for being able to serve the community with such a great group of people,” Fitch said.
Council voted to approve his resignation and appointed Charlie Steadman to finish out his term. Steadman previously served on council for a period of 12 years.
