Trash, totters and refuse rates were among the topics covered by Corry City Council Monday night.
Waste Management was the lone bidder for a new contract that was approved by unanimous vote. Council also voted 5-0 to buy $10,000 worth of smaller trash totes for customers. Customers will be notified of rate increases by mail and publication of rates in the Corry Journal. The first reading of the Quality of Life Ordinance was also approved.
Bids requests for paving and chipping roads will be advertised. $9,069.74 worth of Airport Authority Bills were paid by council.
There was also discussion concerning the lack of emergency ambulance service in the City of Corry.
