At last month’s Bloomfield Township Supervisor’s meeting several residents addressed the board on problems with the roads. It was reported that the approach of the bridge on Maple Drive is worn and vehicles are hitting the steel. The board also learned Lakeview Rd. at the intersection with Mt. Pleasant road is also in need of work. The Sadlers stated that the Canadohta Lake inlet by Maple Drive has become so shallow it is growing grass and inquired as to who is responsible for fixing the problem. Supervisor Mason said the problem was researched several years ago but no solution was ever implemented and suggested that a committee be created to research the issue further and advise the board on possible solutions. In other news supervisor Gourley reported that the canvas on the salt shed needs replaced and he that he will be price shopping.
