The next Union City Borough Council meeting will be held March 13th, a day earlier than previously scheduled.  The change was made so borough officials can attend Erie County’s EMS & Fire Leadership Seminar on March 14th.  During the seminar Dr. Aaron Rhone, Director of the Department of Health’s EMS Bureau, will address the state of emergency medical services in the area and the county’s Collaborative EMS Response Plan.  Attendance was prompted by the recent decision by Perry Hose company to discontinue providing ambulance service on a mutual aid basis to several nearby municipalities beginning May 1st.
