Corry City Council met in special session last night and voted to offer employment to two police officers.
Then at a planning session, council indicated it would have a plan for street improvements within 60 days or so. The council is also considering the purchase of smaller trash totes to accommodate customers that have trouble handling the bigger totes. There was also discussion concerning a policy on controlling city purchases.
Improvements at rest rooms at the police station and community center are likely to be approved.
Discussion on the airport was put off as legal work continues to resolve issues.
When council meets February 20th, a revised Property Maintenance Ordinance will be on the agenda for a possible vote.
