Queen Crowned; Bears Fall to Rival Devils

Written by Cody Rose

The Union City Bears were back in the Bears Den on Tuesday night where they honored this year’s Winter Sports Queen, Brooke Dylon, taking on rival, Cambridge Springs Blue Devils in a region game. It was all Devils throughout the game, as the Bears would throw bad passes leading to steals, missed layups, and giving up wide open three’s which would allow the Devils to pull away to a 61-33 win, as the Bears lose their third consecutive game, falling to 4-9 (1-3) on the season. The Bears will be back in action Friday night in Eisenhower, beginning a five-game road trip, before they are back home Tuesday, February 7th against Cochranton. The Bears won the JV game.
