The Union City Bears traveled to Iroquois High School to take on the Iroquois Braves in the first round of the Iroquois Christmas Tournament. Led by Bryce Drayer with 20 points, the Bears would defeat the Braves 66-52 ending their two-game losing streak and improving to 3-3 on the season. The Bears now advance to the tournament championship game taking on North East who defeated Erie First Christian 48-42.
