The Union City Bears hosted the George Junior Republic Tigers on Friday night in Boys Basketball. Collin Eliason nailed a three pointer to begin the scoring for the Bears and it was all Union City from the start as the Bears would pull away and defeat the Tigers 64-47 improving to 2-1 on the season. Josh James led the team with 21 points. The Bears will be back in the Bears Den Monday night as they take on Greenville.
