Two athletes from Union City were in Hershey on Saturday after qualifying for the PIAA Cross Country State Championship Meet at Parkview Cross Country Course in Hershey. Sophomore Ava Reagle was up first as the 1A Girls ran at 11 am placing in 78th of the total 257, with a time of 22:47 compared to the winning time of 18:54. Later in the day Senior Zach Beckwith took to the course as the 1A Boys ran at 1:15 pm placing in 58th of the total 267, with a time of 18:43 compared to the winning time of 16:33.
