The Union City Lady Bears Volleyball team traveled to Meadville High School to take on the Slippery Rock Rockets in the District 10 Class 2A Playoffs first round on Monday night. It was all Slippery Rock the first two sets but the Bears would start off the third set strong taking a 5 point lead but were unable to hold on as the Rockets would come back and take the final set 25-23 ending the Bears season but the girls would go out strong with a competitive final set. The Bears finish the season with a respectable 8-8 record.
