Corry State Police and first responders were called to a fatal traffic accident Tuesday morning. Around 10:45 AM, for unknown reasons, a vehicle driven by 64 year old Donald Stanbro left the south side of route 77 in Concord township south of Corry, traveled 250 feet and struck a tree. Stanbro was pronounced dead at the scene by the Erie County Coroners Office. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. Police were assisted at the scene by the Corry and Spartansburg Fire Departments, Spartansburg Ambulance and Rusty’s Auto Service.
