Knights Offense Too Much for Bears

The Bears Football team traveled to Eisenhower on Friday night to take on the Knights at ‘The Pasture of Pain’. The Bears started the game off with what looked to be a promising opening drive taking the ball all the way down to the Eisenhower 30 yard line but couldn’t score. The Bears would recover a fumble on the Knights first possession giving the Bears great field position but couldn’t take advantage of it as the drive would end in a punt. The Knights would then go on a 99 yard touchdown drive for the first score of the game as Eisenhower would take a 7-0 lead with 9:34 left in the second quarter. It would be all Eisenhower from that point on as Union City’s offense could never really get going as the Knights would shut out the Bears 35-0 improving to 3-0 (1-0) on the season while the Bears fall to 1-2 (0-1). The Bears will look to get back in the win column next Saturday at 7PM as they head to Iroquois to take on the Braves.
